Tiffany Goles, MSW graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kalamazoo College and continued on to the University of Michigan where I obtained my Master’s in Clinical Social Work (MSW) in 2012.
My passion for counseling has taken several different shades over the past 10 years. However, I continue to have growing enthusiasm for working with adults and couples, in particular. I strive to help foster secure attachments and instill empowerment, trust, and stability within all of my therapeutic relationships. I actively work alongside my clients helping them establish a personalized blueprint for a safe and satisfying connection where a myriad of feelings such as resentment, vulnerability, inadequacy, abandonment or rejection may be inhibiting their happiness. I encourage clients to take risks reaching beyond personal fears and relationship traumas and move towards emotions rather than away from them.
My warmth offers comfort, support and hope while guiding individuals, families, and couples in the direction of higher self-awareness and autonomy. My strengths-based approach often sparks curiosity and togetherness, helping shift clients from emotional starvation towards a richly responsive bond developed on a framework of mutual respect.
Given the advances in technology & our increasingly busy lifestyles, I am excited to partner with VSEE, a HIPAA approved online platform that allows clients to conveniently hold teletherapy sessions right from the comfort of their office or home. I offer flexible daytime, evening, & weekend hours. For those of you new to teletherapy, I am offering one introductory session for free. This allows you to see how it works and we can see if we are a good fit for one another.
