Steve Abell, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Director of the M.A. Program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Detroit, Mercy. Dr. Abell received his Doctorate from the University of Loyola in Chicago. Since then, he has compiled a distinguished record of both outstanding clinical service with children, adults, couples and families, as well as significant academic research in the areas of childhood cognitive and emotional development. Dr. Abell has published numerous articles and research studies and maintains an active research program in addition to his clinical work.
