Laurie Miller, MA

Laurie Miller is invested in each of her clients and committed to their success. Her experience includes working with clients with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, post-traumatic stress, and adjustment issues. She believes that like our physical health, psychological health involves action and awareness. Therapy is a science-based, proven method for changing perspectives, examining harmful thoughts and relational patterns, and can also contribute to making a good life great!

In addition, Laurie is an adjunct professor at Oakland Community College. She enjoys working with students and sharing her enthusiasm for the science of psychology.

Her background includes an undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and a master’s in Clinical Psychology from Madonna University. In addition, she has completed numerous certificates to enhance her skills in specific areas including Trauma Specialist, Brain Injury Specialist, Positive Psychology, and Motivational Interviewing. Laurie has also completed Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Institute couples therapy training.
