In 2018, I received my Master of Counseling degree from Oakland University School of Counseling and in 2012 I received my bachelor’s degree from Rochester College. I also served as a pastor for eleven years prior to transitioning into the mental health field.  During my time at Oakland University I completed my internship at St Joseph Mercy Hospital where I focused my learning with the Pain Palliative Team providing counseling for bereavement and substance use. Since completing my schooling in 2018 I have worked in the non-profit community mental health field in which I provide counseling services to underserved populations in Oakland County.
