Tandy Jurgensen, MFT is a therapist at Relationship Institute.
She has experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and families; people who have non-traditional relationships including polyamorous and kink-oriented folks; and people who have an interest in positive spirituality and mindfulness. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in the Children and Families Program at University of Michigan-Dearborn and her Master’s in Counseling, specializing in Child and Adolescent Counseling as well as Couple and Family Therapy, at Oakland University. She has a Professional Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University.
She comes from a post-modern and positive spirituality/living perspective. She uses the Gottman Method, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Collaborative Therapy, and Mindfulness Techniques to assist clients in living happy lives. She is a Licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and is working toward her full licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist
